This Health IT Module is compliant with the ONC Certification Criteria for Health IT and has been certified by an ONC-ACB in accordance with the applicable certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. This certification does not represent an endorsement by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Costs and Considerations

Costs

The Claimpower Mobile EMR is not offered as a ‘stand-alone’ software, and is only available to practices who also use our Medical Billing Services.

Therefore, there are no additional costs for installation, usage, upgrades, lab and government agency interfaces or technical support, except as specified below:

  • ePrescribing

    We partner with an ePrescribing vendor and their charges of $25 per prescriber per month  will be passed through in addition to our monthly negotiated billing fee.

  • Direct Messaging

    We partner with a Direct Messaging vendor and their charges of $15 per Direct Address per  month will be passed through in addition to our monthly negotiated billing fee.

  • Text Messaging

    We partner with a Text Messaging vendor for Appointment Reminder Text messages and  Text messaging to patients via the EMR. Their charges of 10 cents per text message will be  passed through in addition to our monthly negotiated billing fee.

  • Document Indexing

    Bulk scanned documents uploaded to us for Indexing will incur an additional charge of 10  cents per page indexed. Software for scanning and indexing is included free of charge with  our EMR and documents scanned and indexed by the client incur no additional charges.

Contractual Considerations

The above functions may be disabled for clients in arrears of more than 30 days on invoices raised by Claimpower. Please note that the continued availability of the ePrescribing and Direct Messaging functions is required for full Meaningful Use functionality of the EMR.

Technical / Practical Considerations

There are no other Technical or Practical limitations to the functions available in the EMR.
